The Tanka Golf Villasimius is located in an exciting natural context, where the scent of salt is combined with that of the Mediterranean scrub typical of the coast of Villasimius, known not by chance as the Polynesia of the Mediterranean.

The 18-hole course is of rare beauty, so much so that it was awarded in 2007 as the best new course in Italy by the magazine “Il Mondo del Golf”.

The project by Luigi Rota Caremoli, one of the best known Italian designers, unfolds over an area of ​​about 40 hectares overlooking the marine protected area of ​​Capo Carbonara. If the par 70 and the 5418 meters in length recall a simple field, the players must not take it lightly: technique, precision and concentration are required to face the field with the right spirit.
The first 9 holes can be a bit tiring, as they require a good variety of shots; however, the difficulties are rewarded by the spectacular scenery offered by the surrounding nature. The back nine are flatter and allow the player breathing space and more time to concentrate on the score.
