An artist would be incapable of painting this magnificent natural am-phitheatre which literally takes one’s breath away. A pleasant sense of solemnity envelops this area in which the “Golf Feudo Asti” stands. 18 holes embrace the Valdeperno holding, with its eighteenth century Patrician villa, enhanced by one of the most choreographic gardens in the Astigiano area. Formerly owned by the Counts Cotti-Ceres, the villa also once belonged to Count Gazzelli di Rossana, the grandfather of Paola Ruffo di Liegi, Queen of Belgium. Set in the south-east area of Piedmont, adjacent to the Apennines which separate it from the sea, the province of Asti boasts a number of environmental, scenic and cultural credentials and is known for its history and traditions, fine wines and outstanding cuisine. The hills add a final touch to this magnificent backdrop, highlighted in autumn by the colours of the vineyards and the fragrant scent of truffles.
