The Hotel Hermitage was built in the early 1950s, on the site of a small fishing village, by the Genoese aristocrat Paolo De Ferrari, after be fell in love at a first sight with Biodola´s crystal-clear sea, the heart-wrenching beauty of the bay
and its uncontaminated natural setting.
Today the Hotel stands deep in extensive, wonderfully lush private grounds, blending in perfectly with the Mediterranean maquis.
Like a wide terrace overlooking the bay, the Hotel is set directly on the beach, surrounded by the warm sapphire sea and fine golden sand.
Each room (Classic, Sea view or Suite) has its own terrace or balcony, framed with geraniums, bougainvillea and luxuriant flowering plants. The rooms are all beautifully furnished in the Mediterranean style.
Located in the main Hotel building or in pretty villas which blend in perfectly
with their surroundings, they offer guests every facility they could wish for.
