San Vigilio is one of the most delightful places on Lake Garda. Stretching out over its fresh, limpid water, it forms a landspit which takes its name from a monk, who was subsequently canonized, and who lived here before the year 1000. The hotel can be accessed along an ave-nue at whose end there lies the beautiful, stately villa built according to the plans of the archi-tect Sanmicheli, rich in gardens and a park featuring orange and lemon groves. The small ancient church of San Vigilio is set within its gardens. By travelling along a small, cobbled road, guests can access the port with adjacent bar-tavern. The Locanda San Vigilio faces onto the water, next to the port. New opening of an out¬door swimming pool at the “Giardino degli Ulivi”.
