When it started, in 1968, it was 1500 metres long and a par 3 golf course. Afterwards, it broadend until it got par 35 (9 holes) and par 70 (18 holes). The charming course setting stretches itself on a hill where it’s possible to be delighted by a suggestive view. For example, you can see the sea on the horizon by looking to the west from the hole number 5. On the east, the marvellous medieval towers of Tarquinia (the ancient city with the most important museum of Etrurian art and culture) come into sight; at south-east, the Cimini mountains surround river Marta’s valley. The golf oasis and the mild climate of Marina Velca, allow the players to enjoy the sun for most of the year.
