Situated just 600 mt. from the sea, the 18 holes of the Cosmopolitan Golf Club, designed by Architect David Mezzacane, extend over a natural backdrop of rare beauty characterized by a pine forest, the intense greenery of the Mediterranean undergrowth and the appeal of the lakes that cover most of the course. The course is particularly interesting on account of skilfully blending into its natural surrounding and is, in fact, a part of the Italian Golf Federation’s project “impegnati nel verde”. In 1993 it was voted one of the very best courses to have been built in Italy. Thanks to the mild climate in this part of Tuscany golf can be played 365 days of the year. One of the hallmark features of the Cosmpolitan Golf Club is its swimming pool. Boasting a semi-circular shape, it features a large poolside area complete with a whirlpool and well-equipped solarium. The pride of the club is its restaurant featuring two dining rooms, La Cupola and the poolside veranda.
