The Sa Tanca Golf Club, situated in the Flumini di Quartu district, about 15 minutes from the city of Cagliari, is set within unique green surroundings characterized by the colours, the scents and the silences typical of the Mediterranean undergrowth. The pools of water and the various local tree species create an atmosphere suited to those who wish to put themselves to the test and discover the magical atmosphere of Sardinia. Flexible golfing solutions regarding access to the golf course allow golf lovers to organize their time in the best way possible. The course extends over a surface area of approximately 250,000 square metres and consists of a nine hole course and a driving range with 30 stalls and a putting green. The course is divided up according to a classic 9 hole, par 36, layout. It includes 2, par 3, 2 par 5 and 5 par 4. The terrain is slightly undulating with differences in height on the flatland that do not, however, exceed 5 metres at the end extremities. The hills on the course, with or without bunkers, are not particularly high or accentuated in terms of shape and blend in perfectly with the fairways. On an average, the greens extend over a surface area of 500/600 square metres and are protected by bunkers, some of which are slightly raised in order to have a better view of the fairways. The course complies with the regular qualitative standards of the Italian Golf Federation which adopts the international standards determined by the Green Section of the USGA.

How to get there
From Cagliari: follow the Poetto coastline and turn right at the roundabout for Villasimius. After the Foxi bridge, left into via Is Pardinas, at the crossroads with via dell’autonomia Regionale Sarda turn left and then right into via Palma Fiorita. Continue straight until you turn into via della Bouganville.
