Nestling amidst the brightly coloured Mediterranean undergrowth and situated in a strategic position 150 metres above sea level, the Castellaro Golf Club is blessed by a temperate climate meaning that golf can be played yearround. Designed by the architect Marco Croze, the course lies within beautiful scenic surroundings and extends over 2,300 metres. The difficulties caused by the undulating terrain, the narrow fairways and the tricky greens are mitigated by the panoramic views and by the various tee-off areas. The course is dominated by the tastefully furnished club house with a welcoming members´ lounge and the Buca di Bacco bar/restaurant which, with its magnificent terrace overlooking the course, offers traditional Ligurian cuisine. Additional on-site facilities include the Golf Academy which, thanks to cutting-edge technologies, offers a rapid swing analysis system. The golf pros teaching at the Academy are certified by the National School of Italian and German Golf.
