Founded in 1992, the Salsomaggiore Golf & Thermae sits within 70 hectares of green parkland, at an altitude of 360 metres above sea level, on the hills surrounding the spa resort of Salsomaggiore. The 18 hole championship course winds through a tranquil, green valley and is highly spectacular both from a technical and scenic point of view. Its undulating fairways and quick greens, enable golfers at all levels to match themselves against a course that is always in excellent condition. A spacious, comfortable club house, equipped with all the necessary mod-cons is situated in the centre of the golf course. In addition to a wide choice of local and traditional cuisine from the Parma area, the club’s restaurant also serves other typically Mediterranean dishes accompanied by an excellent selection of fine wines. The club house also offers rooms reserved for business meetings, private dinners or receptions. For functions of this nature a top-level, in-house catering service is available on request. The Pro-Shop, managed in collaboration with Viola Golf, offers technical materials, a fitting service (on request) and an array of the best-known brands in golfwear. The swimming pool and solarium are open to members during the summer.
