The course of the Acaya Golf&Country Club, designed by the famous American firm Hurdzan-Fry, combines natural beauty with a technical challenge where the varied design of the course incites golfers to play all types of shots, using all 14 clubs and woods in their bags. This 18 hole, par 71 course, measuring 6159 metres, is set within natural surroundings of rare beauty, amidst the greenery of the Mediterranean undergrowth, which further heightens its technical characteristics. Some of its 18 holes are flanked by small lakes and strategically positioned streams. It is possible to see pools of water at holes 2, 3, 4, 12, 16 and 17. The waterfall, which divides hole 10 from hole 18, is absolutely spectacular. Furthermore, the complex includes the new driving range with sheltered and outdoor stalls, a pitching and putting green and the Costantino Rocca Golf Academy, the first in Italy. Hospitality for both golfers and guests is guaranteed by the ultra-new Doubletree by Hilton Acaya Golf Resort Lecce, boasting 85 rooms and 12 suites, a conference centre with a 600 person seating capacity, 2 restaurants, 4 bars, a fitness centre with indoor swimming pool and 2 outdoor swimming pools, a gym, changing rooms for members, a bag room, cart hire and pro-shop.
