There is a further reason to extend one´s visit to the village Crespi, the workers´ village on the Adda river, UNESCO World Heritage. Among the factory, housing and the stunning castle Crespi, there is also an ancient farmhouse which Maurizio Colombo has beautifully restored to obtain a restaurant of rare beauty. The rooms are fitted with very special care. In the old stables and barns have been created small rooms on several levels. About fifty seats in absolute peace and privacy. The back of the garden has a terrace shaded by a large sail. Behind the movements of personnel and performance of the kitchen, there is the hand of Sergio Mei, executive chef at the Four Seasons in Milan. The menu was of course adapted to the needs of a class inn as Mualdo will be.
